ALOHA!
We woke up bright and early today to go have lunch with the boss at Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Resort.
The Polynesian is completely island themed complete with always-lit tiki torches, waterfalls, and a canopy of tropical plants.
Everything about breakfast was too perfect. The view over the water was absolutely amazing (and if you were at the right table, you could see Cinderella's Castle).
Ohana is family-style dining, so they start you off with cinnamon-raisin and pineapple-coconut bread, and bring around a passion fruit juice. Then, you're served a giant skillet with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and biscuits that you pass around the table, and everyone serves themselves. Also, a cast member always walking around with a basket full of fresh Mickey waffles.
But, of course, the whole reason to go to Ohana are the characters! Island Mickey and Pluto, and Lilo and Stitch come around to all the tables for meet and greets, and then they do a parade once every hour.

Stitch! The cutest alien ever.

After breakfast, we went for a walk downstairs and around the outside courtyard of the resort. It was absolutely beautiful! We felt like such tourists awing over everything and asking everyone to take our pictures.
