First, I was pin trading (yes, pin trading is still a huge deal at WDW) with the most adorable little boy, and so I crouched down to show him my pins and I started talking to him about his trip, and he told me all about his vacation and he said he was four years old and it was his first trip to Disney World and his favorite character was Buzz Lightyear. We talked for about thirty minutes, and his mom told him it was time to go, and he asked me to be his girlfriend.
A few hours later, the coaster broke down and we had a bunch of little kids waiting for a family member to get off the ride, and since I was at photo preview, and there's nothing to do at preview if there are no people on the ride, I went and grabbed our coloring book and crayons, and brought them over. Most of the kids left right when it broke down, but one little girl ended up being there for about ten minutes, so I got to just sit down and color with her until her mom got there. My job is just so hard sometimes.
A couple nights later, I was working the Fantasmic! show selling our Glow merchandise, and afterward, we were at the top of the theatre where people were coming out, and a little boy came up to my cart, and asked if he could play with the merchandise I was selling. I wasn't too busy at the time since most everyone was in a hurry to get out of the park, so I sat on the ground and talked to him and showed him how to use all the toys. After he walked off with his dad, his mom came up and told me how grateful she was that I was so sweet to him, and thanked me for letting him play with all the merchandise. It's little moments like that where I can't imagine ever working anywhere else.
Also, I had never seen Fantasmic! until that night since I was selling in the theatre, and I'm not going to lie.. I cried a little.. Something about that Mouse and fireworks always gets me. So, as I'm trying to pull myself together because I'm 22 years old, and shouldn't be crying at a fireworks show, an elderly lady came up to me and asked if I was okay, I told her "Yes, I'm just a little emotional about Disney," and tried to laugh the awkwardness off. She put her hand on my shoulder and said "Don't worry, it always gets me, too."

And, as always, we spent our days off doing all sorts of things. Allison attempted to give Mikey a hair cut, which didn't look like it was going to end very well for him, but, between the two of us, it ended up turning out pretty decent looking.
And I FINALLY got my main gate pass the day after we could no longer use our Cast I.D. to get into the parks.

So, the next day, we went to Animal Kingdom in the morning since I had never been on the safari.

After Animal Kingdom, we brought Alliecat home and Sasha and I went to EPCOT for the first time since we've been down here. We met up with our friend Ron and his friend Samantha.
We waited an hour for Soarin, and there were two little girls, 7 and 9, infront of us in line with their mother and grandpa. We started talking to them and they asked us what our favorite parks were. We all told her we were biased because we love the parks we work at the best, and they got so excited that we worked at WDW. Their mom asked us if we were College Program and the oldest daughter told us how she already had her CP figured out and she was going to come work here as soon as she could, and we convinced her mom that it was definitely worth it. Once we were on the ride, they were fighting over who got to sit by us, too, and told us they would look for us next time they went to the park.
I also now know the perfect spot to watch IllumiNations.. my favorite fireworks show in the world.
Last night, the CP through a party at Chatham Field for Oktoberfest. We all went out there and met Snow White and Prince Charming, and got to see Rapunzel and got a free meal of German food.
And, the most important part of my week, I finally got a roommate! Her name is Dior and she's a culinary student from Philadelphia. We were all stressed out that we wouldn't get along with her, because we got so lucky with the five of us, but she fits right in our little group :) And, she can cook for us!
